Anita Perez, TopSpot V.P. of Operations, mentored the UH team of Erin Blatzer, Carolina Thomas, Jeffrei Clifton and Lauren Davis. This is the second year Perez mentored the UH team in the competition, with last year’s team earning semi-finalist distinction.

“As an alumna of the University of Houston, it was important for me to mentor and help coach these students,” said Perez. “TopSpot is beyond proud and excited for them. It’s an amazing accomplishment and we are happy to have had the opportunity to meet and coach the team.”

The Google Online Marketing Challenge is an international team competition that measures team pay per click marketing skills for a selected client. The UH team selected the Houston Symphony as their client and their report was evaluated by Google. UH is the first North American team to win the annual competition, which dates back to 2008.
