We are incredibly proud to have won a Lantern Award and two Awards of Excellence at this year\u2019s BMA Lantern Awards.  BMA (Business Marketing Association) is the largest B2B professional association and has been in operation since 1922. The BMA Houston Chapter created the Lantern Awards of Texas more than two decades ago to recognize the year\u2019s finest B2B work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only one Lantern Award is presented per category and is given to the highest scoring entry. Awards of Excellence are given to the next highest ranked piece(s) in recognition for marketing excellence within each category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, TopSpot was awarded a Lantern Award for our work with Babbitt International, and two Awards of Excellence for our website design and development work<\/a> with RECMAR Products and Newpark Resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Babbitt International<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Babbitt International<\/a>, a worldwide level control solutions provider, was in need of a new website that better represented their custom solutions and products and enlisted the help of TopSpot. Our team created a fully responsive site that incorporated additional forms of content (videos, photo galleries and PDFs) that spoke to their custom solutions and addressed the needs of engineers in their target markets who were looking for their products. TopSpot\u2019s custom PDF integration was also used to keep those viewing their PDFs on the site and to drive leads with each view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a current client already utilizing Pay Per Click services<\/a>, Babbitt’s Customer Relationship Team used search query data from their program to drive the content strategy for the new website. High converting terms were identified and included as either new landing pages or supporting content to help increase leads post-launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The content and resources provided for their niche market helped to generate a 1250% increase in form submissions within the first 90 days. <\/strong>Increases in form submissions and website traffic continued as the new website saw an 864% increase in its form conversion rate <\/strong>over the first ten months post-launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RECMAR Products<\/a>, is a leading provider of drapery hardware for the truck, aircraft, RV and marine industries since 1974. As a client since 2007, they trusted TopSpot with the design & development of a website that would showcase their products and allow for easy online quoting. The team created a website that provided multiple conversion opportunities throughout and the addition of two new forms; A Quick Contact form and the Wholesale Quote form that was attached to the new quote cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon launch, the number of form submissions & quote requests the website received <\/strong>increased by 392.77%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newpark Resources, Inc.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Newpark Resources Inc. is a global technical leader in fluid systems and matting products who provides value-added drilling fluids solutions, products and services to thousands of wells around the world. Newpark contracted TopSpot to design and develop a responsive website that showcased their three distinct divisions and a better mobile experience for their visitors. The team created a fully responsive website that features a clean navigation utilizing a mega drop-down & footer. PDFs from the previous website were also converted into landing pages, providing additional opportunity for organic traffic growth and a more engaging user experience overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall layout and ease of use of the site played a critical role in the website\u2019s 592.54% increase in online form submissions over the first eight months.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
