I work on TopSpot’s website design & development<\/a> team as a web developer and will be celebrating my 5 year anniversary this September!<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I began working at TopSpot almost five years ago, I had very limited experience no experience with building websites in MODx, the content management system<\/a> used at TopSpot. Thanks to the mentorship and coaching I’ve received from my Team Members<\/a> over the years, I am very comfortable with MODx today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to my Team Members, I am consistently improving and learning something new every single day, which helps me to become an even better web developer. <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Outside of the office, I love traveling with my 3-year-old son Kyle and my husband, Julian. At the end of every year, we always try to plan out where and when to take vacations for the upcoming year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I have lived in 3 different continents and traveling has always been a big part of my life. I believe traveling not only creates memories but it also creates meaningful relationships. We began taking Kyle to explore the world when he was an infant. We want to encourage him to meet people from other cultures and teach him to see the world outside of his own perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a working parent, I think the key is to focus on a plan, get organized and find the right balance between spending time on your profession and with your family. Make the best use of your time at work by prioritizing your tasks, do your best work, be accountable and be confident in your experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To me, success is being self-motivated, responsible and always have a positive attitude. The desire to improve is something I keep striving for every day at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you for knocking out the web edit for our client so quickly! They were blown away by our turn around time. Way to make a great first impression! <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n A HUGE thanks to the both of you for your extensive help on the latest Phase 3 revisions. You were quick to respond, add insight & context, and helped facilitate movement on the revisions! This was my first time going through the revision process and was really appreciated! Thanks for making it a smooth process for me!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n I appreciate you taking the time to answer all of my specific development questions about this site.
