Conversion Improvement Specialists have an opportunity to update and build new website functionality and gain valuable UX design experience.

Conversion Improvement is like building LEGOs, but in the web space. In CI, we have some goal or design in mind and have to figure out which pieces are needed to achieve the desired result, and are often compelled to build our own web components and functionality to do so.

What You’ll Do:

  • Update and build new website features and functionality
  • Troubleshoot web errors, such as bad links, broken forms, or JavaScript errors
  • Provide suggestions for improving conversions (client interaction)
  • Provide suggestions for improving site usability
  • Create mockups for new/proposed website content


  • Thorough understanding of HTML and CSS is required
  • Proficiency in Photoshop
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript/jQuery
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

Awesome if you have experience with:

  • PHP, ASP, and other web languages
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as MODx, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and Wordpress
  • Knowledge of email newsletter software such as Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Constant Contact
