Introducing Our Latest Award-Winning Websites!

At TopSpot, our Team’s goal is to help the companies we work with grow by generating quality online leads for their business. One of the main components of a competitive online presence is a company’s website. Our Team works hard to create websites that not only look great, but also drive results which is why it’s incredibly rewarding to showcase four of our recent website projects that were awarded 2021 dotCOMM Awards, an international competition that recognizes the best in web creativity and digital communication and is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication.

Hellan Strainer

Platinum Award Winner, Manufacturing Website Category

Hellan Strainer offers a wide range of products and services including the manufacture of industrial and commercial cooling systems and Strainer skids, as well as providing custom-designed water cooling solutions for a wide range of applications. The new industrial website focuses on bringing their capabilities to life with plenty of detailed images of their products including a robust gallery accessible from its main navigation. Other features include:

  • New contact forms and click-to-call phone numbers, replacing the mailto: links on the previous site
  • Easy-to-find information through tabbed content boxes and interactive graphics
  • A Resources section that includes their catalogs, specification sheets and videos

Results: When comparing the first three months post-launch to the previous version, the new, responsive website has seen a 46.68% increase in mobile and tablet traffic, 58.8% of which was driven by organic visits. The addition of forms versus mail-to links has helped drive nearly 150 online form submissions compared to the 7 form submissions from the previous period.

Accelalpha

Platinum Award Winner, Professional Services Website Category

As an Oracle solutions provider, Accelalpha wanted to generate quality leads from their website. To do this, the new website is designed to put the power back in the hands of the client. In order to answer questions quickly and easily, content was broken out by how Accelalpha can help solve their client’s problems. Additional features include:

  • Interactive ‘How can we help?’ section on the homepage
  • Easy to find tabbed content on the solutions pages
  • Problems We Are Solving‘ section for easy access for clients
  • Expanded content throughout the website

Results: In the 90 days post-launch, organic form submissions increased by 633.33% (44 v 6) over the previous period with a 22.26% (5482 v 4484) increase in organic traffic, thanks in part to the expanded content and interactive content blocks throughout the new website!

Farmers Copper

Gold Award Winner, B2B Website Category

Farmers Copper is an ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100D certified supplier of a diverse range of alloys from copper to brass to stainless steel. Their new, mobile-friendly website showcases this beautifully, starting with the homepage. In addition to a regular internal site search bar, the homepage prominently features an alloy-specific search bar, making it easy for customers to go straight to the pages that interest them. Additional features that improve the user experience compared to their previous design include:

  • A responsive website design that allows users to easily navigate the website from all devices
  • A “shape gallery” on each of the alloy pages allowing the user to browse by alloy and then narrow down their needs by bar, rod, sheet, etc.
  • Updated navigation allowing the user to browse by material or shape

Results: In the three months post-launch, the overall form submissions have increased by 66.62% (1123 v 674) when compared to the previous period. The Request a Quote form alone accounts for 24.05% of that increase! Additionally, organic traffic to the new mobile-friendly website has increased by 346% (2,366 vs. 530) and online leads stemming from those visits have increased by 700% (40 vs. 5)!

Kason Corporation

Gold Award Winner, B2B Website Category

Kason Corp. Is a leading global manufacturer of screening, sifting, and processing equipment for a wide array of industries. TopSpot designed a responsive, data-driven website that was reorganized to showcase and clarify the many product lines Kason offers. In addition, the company’s nondigital branding was carried over into the design, helping to create a clean user experience across the board. The original website had no SEO set up, so the new site was designed with SEO in mind, starting with expanded and optimized content. Additional features include:

  • New pages and expanded content throughout the website
  • An in-depth resource gallery that includes filterable technical information, videos, product literature and more
  • The company’s certifications & associations listed on the footer of each page throughout the site

Results: Kason’s new website had improved form submissions by 205.26% (174 vs 57) in the 90 days post-launch. That trend only continued, as form submissions went up by 383.53% in the 6 months post-launch and 691.92% in the 9 months since launch!

This year, there were over 2,500 entries from around the world. Out of those entries, approximately 14 percent placed in the Platinum category, and 18 percent won Gold. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
